Basic info: what is sense8 and what are the rules

Sense8 is a netflix show written and directed by the Wikowski siblings that stars 8 different people all across the globe who are sensates and how this impacts their lives

Sensates are people who are physically connected to different people and can use their abilities to either share information or visit one another.

Sensates can only share information, emotions, or memories with people who they share an exact time and date of birth with, this group is called a cluster and is a group of 8 people

If a sensate is not a part of the cluster, then they have to make eye contact with another sensate to be able to visit them

Both of these abilities have to be unlocked by one sensate giving “birth” to a cluster and awakening their abilities

This person can be of any gender and can visit the cluster regardless if they made eye contact or not. There is also no limit to the amount of clusters they can birth

Whos in this cluster and what is their job (not solidified I just wanna throw some people down)

Diluc - bartender

child/tartaglia/ajax was in the military but was discharge, currently looking for work

Could also just be part of the mob

Zhongli -funderal parlor worker

Baizhu - doctor

Neuvillette -judge

Wrisothley - in prison but will be a boxer when he gets out or some blue collar job

Dainslef - investigator

Ayato - rich bitch (what is work)

Idea blurbs

Would definitely be a lot of wtf moments at first, definitely a few scares and a lot of freaking out

The rest of the cluster would be there for Wriothesley when he gets out of prison, many of them wouldn’t be able to show up in person because of distance but maybe one of them would be (*cough* Neuvi *cough*)

Diluc would probably still be doing illegal shit, much to Neuvi’s horror and Wrio’s delight

Neuvi will eventually start giving Diluc law advice while he does things bc he’s just kinda done with this but doesn't want DIluc to get into too much legal trouble

Diansleif still has problems with his memory, and is also an amputee cause that arm being a prosthetic would be sick as fuck

Baizhu is pretty chill with Dainsleif memory problems, Baizhu is still QiQi’s caretaker in this au so he’s used to living with people who have memory problems

He’s just really patient with him and Dainsleif is just glad it’s not too much of a problem for his cluster

Zhongli has legit once shown up after one of Baizhu’s patients died and he’s never let Zhongli live that down

Chengshung and Diluc’s bird can both tell when someone is with their owners, Chengshung will straight up bite some of them while the birds chill so long as they give him pets and food

Xiolnen has probably told people around her that she is a sensate and has maybe saught out others with her same abilites because she's so curious about what all she can do with it.

She also enjoys joining others as they go on shopping trips with them, she especially enjoys teasing Neuvillette for liking water so much
